PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy should be understandable.

This Privacy Policy explains what Proudlii may collect, why we use it, how it may be shared, and the choices available to you. Proudlii is an adults-only LGBTQ+ social service.

1. Who operates Proudlii

Proudlii is operated by Seventh Software LLC. Contact: support@proudlii.com.

Where applicable under privacy law, Seventh Software LLC acts as the operator or controller responsible for personal information processed through Proudlii. You can email support@proudlii.com or use proudlii.com/contact for privacy questions or requests.

2. Information we may collect

  • Account and authentication data, such as email address, authentication provider, account identifiers, security state, and age-eligibility information.
  • Profile data you choose to provide, such as display name, age, biography, interests, relationship or connection preferences, pronouns, identity information, and profile settings.
  • Photos, posts, comments, private-album media, messages, voice messages, reactions, and other content you create or share.
  • Location data when you grant location permission or use location-based discovery. This may include device location used to calculate nearby discovery, approximate map position, or distance.
  • Usage, device, security, and diagnostic data needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and prevent abuse of the service.
  • Subscription and purchase status supplied by Apple, Google, or another authorized payment platform. Proudlii does not need your full payment-card number for app-store purchases.
  • Safety and moderation records, including reports, blocks, enforcement actions, verification-related signals, and evidence reasonably needed to investigate abuse or comply with law.
  • Support information you send when you contact us.

3. Sensitive information

Because Proudlii is an LGBTQ+ social platform, information you voluntarily place in your profile or communications may reveal sensitive characteristics such as sexual orientation, gender identity, relationship preferences, approximate location, or intimate personal interests.

You control whether to provide optional profile fields. When you choose to make a field public or visible to another user, you direct us to display it according to your privacy settings. Avoid posting information you do not want other people to see or save.

4. How we use information

  • Create, authenticate, secure, recover, and administer accounts.
  • Provide nearby discovery, profiles, feeds, messaging, private albums, favorites, communities, and other requested features.
  • Personalize discovery and organize content using your settings, interests, location context, and product activity.
  • Operate verification, anti-spam, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, moderation, blocking, reporting, and enforcement systems.
  • Process subscriptions and confirm purchase entitlements.
  • Provide support, service notices, security alerts, and product communications.
  • Improve reliability, accessibility, performance, and product design.
  • Comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate suspected wrongdoing, and respond to valid legal process.

5. Location privacy

Location is used only when relevant to Proudlii features and when permission or another valid basis is available. Nearby discovery is designed to provide useful context without intentionally publishing a member's exact home address.

Other members may still infer a general area from distance, map position, shared places, photos, posts, or information you disclose. Do not use Proudlii location features as an emergency-location service, tracking service, or guarantee of another person's real-world position.

6. How information may be shared

  • With other Proudlii users according to the audience, visibility, album-access, message, and profile settings you choose.
  • With service providers that perform cloud hosting, authentication, databases, storage, maps, notifications, diagnostics, content moderation, security, support, or similar services on our behalf.
  • With Apple, Google, or other authorized app-store and payment platforms for subscriptions, purchase status, distribution, fraud prevention, or platform compliance.
  • With authorities, regulators, courts, emergency services, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect a person, investigate abuse, enforce our rules, or protect legal rights.
  • As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.

7. Sale and advertising

Proudlii does not sell personal information for money. If Proudlii later introduces advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising that changes your privacy rights, we will update our disclosures and implement any consent or opt-out controls required by law before using data that way.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, to provide an active account, or to satisfy legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, accounting, or enforcement obligations.

After account deletion, some limited records may be retained when legally required or reasonably necessary to document consent, prevent repeat abuse, investigate fraud, protect users, resolve disputes, or comply with lawful requests. Backups may be deleted on their normal secure rotation cycle.

9. Account and data deletion

You may initiate deletion from the app's account or profile settings where available. Proudlii also provides an external deletion information page at proudlii.com/delete-account.

Deletion is intended to remove the account and associated personal data that we are not legally required or otherwise permitted to retain. Deleting the app from your device does not itself delete your account.

Subscriptions are managed by the store where you purchased them. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription unless the platform does so; review your store subscription settings separately.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, restrict, object to, or withdraw consent for certain processing of your personal information. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions.

Email your request to support@proudlii.com or use proudlii.com/contact. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a legally protected privacy right.

11. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee perfect security. Protect your credentials, do not share verification codes, and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

12. International processing

Proudlii may use service providers or infrastructure in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for cross-border processing. Mandatory local privacy rights are not waived by this policy.

13. Adults only

Proudlii is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit minors to create or use Proudlii accounts. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may suspend or delete it and take additional protective action.

14. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, practices, providers, or legal obligations change. Material changes may be communicated in the app or through another appropriate notice.

Privacy requests and questions can be emailed to support@proudlii.com or prepared at proudlii.com/contact. For deletion instructions, visit proudlii.com/delete-account.
