SAFETY CENTER

Your safety matters more than a match.

Proudlii combines product controls, moderation, and clear rules, but no social app can eliminate every risk. Use these tools and practices to protect yourself online and in person.

1. If there is immediate danger

Proudlii is not an emergency service. If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first. Do not rely on a Proudlii report for emergency response.

2. Report and block

Use Report to flag profiles, posts, messages, photos, harassment, threats, suspected scams, sexual exploitation, underage users, or other violations. Use Block to stop direct interaction with a person. Safety reports are prioritized based on severity and credible risk.

3. Meet in a safer way

  • For first meetings, choose a public place and keep your own transportation option.
  • Tell someone you trust where you are going and when you expect to return.
  • Do not share your home address, workplace routine, door codes, travel documents, or financial credentials with someone you have just met.
  • Stay aware of alcohol or substances that can impair judgment. Leave if a situation feels unsafe.
  • Do not send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, banking credentials, or authentication codes because someone you met on Proudlii asks you to.

4. Verification has limits

A badge or verification step is a safety signal, not a guarantee. It does not guarantee identity, age beyond the control actually performed, criminal history, health status, relationship status, intentions, or safety. Use your own judgment and boundaries.

5. Protect intimate content

Private-album access can be revoked, but technical controls cannot guarantee that another person will never capture an image using another device or misuse content outside Proudlii. Share only what you are comfortable disclosing and report threats or unauthorized redistribution.

6. Location safety

Nearby features are for social discovery, not surveillance. Never use Proudlii to track another person. Avoid posting exact home addresses or routines. Location indicators can be delayed, approximate, or inaccurate and must not be used for emergency decisions.

7. Underage users and child safety

Proudlii is 18+ only. Report any account you reasonably believe belongs to a minor. Child sexual abuse and exploitation, grooming, sextortion, sexualization of minors, and CSAM are prohibited and may be reported to appropriate authorities.

8. Scams and impersonation

Be cautious if someone quickly moves the conversation off-platform, refuses ordinary verification, asks for money, claims an urgent emergency, promotes investment opportunities, asks for login codes, or uses inconsistent identity details. Block and report suspected scams.

9. Enforcement and evidence

For serious threats, exploitation, fraud, or safety incidents, Proudlii may preserve relevant account, message, device, report, and moderation records as permitted by law to investigate the incident, enforce rules, defend legal rights, or respond to lawful requests.

10. Support

For non-emergency safety help, use in-app reporting tools, email support@proudlii.com, or visit proudlii.com/contact. For child-safety standards and reporting practices, visit proudlii.com/child-safety.
